Dhanteras, also known as Dhan Trayodashi, is the first and important day of Diwali festival. This festival is mainly celebrated for wealth, prosperity and health. On this day people worship Lord Dhanvantri and Mata Lakshmi. Although, we should buy all the items needed from Dhanteras to Bhai Dooj on this day, but if you want, you can buy any of these items.
1. Broom – It is believed that Goddess Lakshmi resides in the broom, so a broom should be brought and used.
2. Coriander or turmeric – Bringing this increases fame and glory.
3. Lakshmi and Kuber Yantra – Worshiping Lakshmi and Kuber Yantra on the day of Diwali and keeping it in your house, shop or safe increases wealth.
4. 7 Mukhi Rudraksha – On the day of Dhanteras, you can bring 7 Mukhi Rudraksha, worship it and wear it throughout the year.
5. Utensils- Buying brass utensils is considered very auspicious. If you cannot buy brass utensils, then buy any utensils but do not buy iron utensils.
